Prayer of forgiveness

Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for our life and for the peace reigning in our home. We thank you that wisdom rests within us, lead our language, our actions and guide our tongue. We forgive one another for our transgressions, we forgive and let go of the guilt, shame and defeat of the past. We surrender to you Lord, we honor you. Soften our hearts Lord, and create a new heart within us, let your spirit dwell within us and the borders of our home. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

LET GO AND LET GOD

All of us have been hurt. It's a painful part of life. What can we do about this pain and poison that ruins our life and robs our joy? God's solution is grace. Extend grace to the person who hurt you. What is grace? 

FORGIVENESS

It does not mean that all of the hurt and pain are gone. It may take time, but what it means is you have made a choice to forgive, to let go of your anger, resentment, and desire to get even. You have said to God, " Lord, I forgive, I choose to forgive, I give you my anger and resentment, I give it all to you." Forgiveness is a healing choice, a choice made by God's strength in us, a choice made because of Christ's grace for us. Forgiveness is taking back your life, your joy, stomping on the enemy and not letting him win your battles. Forgiveness must be done honestly from the heart, so that we may also be forgiven. Let it go, let God and start a new.

GUIDANCE AND WISDOM

There are times in life when we need guidance and times we need wisdom. Generally speaking, we need guidance when we are young and wisdow when we are older. Children need a lot of guidance, and as they mature they need to develop wisdom so that they can make decisions as adults. Ask GOD to give you wisdom and guide you every step of the way. God has given us the resources we need, prayer, the word, and wise counselors. 

PRAYER

Lord, sometimes in the past I have depended on my own judgement and made foolish decisions. Forgive me Lord and help me to walk by faith in your wisdom. Help me to turn to you in prayer, through your word and Godly counsel in Church. Amen
